In a world relentlessly hit with turmoil, despair and tragedy we must always remember to cherish every moment that is spent with our loved ones.
*The picture below is a snapshot of the despair faced by many in the midst of the 12th May 2008 Sichuan Earthquake. It was taken during the aftermath of the earthquake and shows a quake victim (the hand of a young child) trapped under the debris while her older brother holds her hand for comfort.
Looking at these photos reminds me of how lucky I am to have a roof over my head, to have a family, to be loved- to be alive...and just how much I take for granted each day. And that I must always think of the ones I love and "cherish every moment spent with them" because you never when its gone-till its gone. (Not turning emo btw)
I want to express my deepest condolences to those affected by the earthquake. May those who perished in the earthquake
